Open source skill for generating a SimpleDiagrams document.

Note the BPMN and UML stuff doesn't work until 5.1 comes out this week.

Some days you fight collective dementia, some days you say "Agent, please do it for me. I promise I'll read Dostoevsky while you're working."

For those days, I've posted a skill that will create your SimpleDiagrams diagram for you, churning out a document in .simplediagrams format that you can open in SimpleD and then continue working on. Describe a process, system or org chart, and it creates an editable SimpleDiagrams document using shapes, labels and connectors.

Try this: take a picture of that sketch of your Arduino circuit in your notebook. Or the whiteboard you've been meaning to tidy up. Give the picture to your assistant with the skill installed, and ask: "Turn this sketch into an editable SimpleDiagrams diagram. Keep the labels and connections, and tidy up the spacing. I'll be reading Dostoevsky and thinking very big thoughts so don't worry about me."

The assistant will transform your sketch into SimpleD shapes and connectors. Open the resulting .simplediagram file in SimpleDiagrams, move things around, fix a label, add the bit you forgot. Keep thinking. Keep drawing. (I like to believe this isn't brain rot, just teamwork.)

BTW, if there's a library of shapes you'd like to see that would fit your domain, let me know. There are lots of free libraries on the shape libraries page but there could always be more. Note that the agent can search this set of libraries and use suitable shapes in your diagram. You'll need SimpleDiagrams 5.1 and the matching libraries installed to actually see these shapes in your generated doc. Does that make sense? Just try it, you'll see.
